The aim of this bachelor thesis is to investigate a relationship between the rate of wage inflation and selected factors of the labor market in conditions of the Czech Republic between years 2000–2019. Particularly, the article examines dependencies of following variables: the unemployment rate, the overall employment growth and the labor market tightness. Investigation could be described as an statistical analysis based on the real data development. The introduction represents theoretical concepts including some current studies of relevant topics. The empirical part is firstly focused on causal effects analysis of involved variables for two different wage inflation specifications using linear regression. The other part examines the predictive abilities of individual factors.
