This bachelor’s thesis explores how digital storytelling can help younger school-age children improve their reading skills. The goal is to find out if interactive stories can support reading development and foster a love of reading. The thesis includes a theorytical part and a practical part, where two digital stories were created and tested in a classroom. The results show that children liked the stories and that interactive reading helped them understand the text better.
