This bachelor thesis focuses on the design and implementation of a portable vehicle telemetry device based on the STM32 microcontroller platform. The device is intended for use in a car, where it measures telemetry data using several sensors and modules, including an accelerometer, gyroscope, barometric pressure sensor, and GPS receiver. Measured values are processed to obtain information such as speed, acceleration, vibration magnitude, altitude, and device orientation. The processed data are displayed in real time on a touchscreen display and simultaneously stored on a micro SD card for later analysis. The device can also serve as a simple automotive black box and route recorder thanks to GPS position logging. The thesis describes the analysis of existing solutions, theoretical background, hardware selection, software implementation, and testing of the final functional prototype.
