Master's thesis
Fiscal policy impacts on economic dynamics of the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic
Vliv fiskální politiky na dynamiku ekonomiky České republiky a Slovenské republiky
Abstract
Abstract
The objective of this thesis is to quantify the impacts of fiscal policy changes on economic dynamics of the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic. The thesis aims to estimate the size of shadow economy and total government revenues based on alternative settings of tax rates. For this a dynamic stochastic general equilibrium model with shadow economy and corruption is used. The model is identified using macroenonomic data for the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic over period 2008 - 2019.
