This diploma thesis deals with court proceedings that were
conducted before the State Court in Brno between 1948 and 1952.
The thesis focuses only on proceedings in which lawyers were
involved. First, it presents a theoretical basis, namely a
summary of the post-February 1948 situation. Furthermore, it
also describes the laws applied in court proceedings and also
maps the actual functioning of the State Court in Brno. In its
main part, the thesis analyses the legal proceedings in
question and describes the most interesting ones of them.
Additionally, it also sheds light on the elements which are
common to these proceedings.
