Abstract
Tato práce má za cíl definovat fundamentální chápání pojmu demokratický deficit. Provází čtenáře základními historickými a myšlenkovými zdroji demokratického myšlení a následně definuje, co je demokratický deficit. Zkoumá některé klíčové instituce vnímané jako potenciální zdroje demokratického deficitu – především Ústavní soud České republiky a Evropskou Unii. Nakonec posuzuje českou právně politickou scénu jako celek a navrhuje některé oblasti, kde by si stát mohl počínat více demokraticky.
Abstract
This thesis aims to define the fundamental understanding of the concept of democratic deficit. It takes the reader through the principal historic and conceptual roots of democratic thought and thereby defines what a deficit of democracy is.
