Abstract

Cieľom práce je popísať problémy spojené s návrhom sémantických sietí zameraných na špecifickú doménu, a vyvinúť nástroje na budovanie, údržbu a dotazovanie týchto sietí. Detailne sú charakterizované metódy dolovania dát z HTML webových stránok. Implementované nástroje sú modulárne a rozšíriteľné, čím predstavujú rámec pre ďalší vývoj.

Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to describe the issues related to design of semantic networks focused on a specific domain and to develop tools for creation, maintenance and querying of such networks. Specifically, the method of HTML web page crawling and scraping is described in detail. The implemented tools are modular and extensible, forming a framework for further development.

Thesis description
Read up on semantic (associative) networks, their history, types and construction. Create such network that will contain any of literary, movie, music, theatre, graphic or architectural work, including authors, directors, actors, locations etc. Use publicly available web pages (e.g. http://www.csfd.cz/, Wikipedia). Develop software tools for building and updating of the network from web pages. The network creation tool should be general and configurable enough for building of domain semantic networks from other web pages. The relevant part of WordNet should be used as the upper ontology of the new network. Bibliography: Ch.
