Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce rozebírá oltářní obraz Nanebevzetí Panny Marie od benátského malíře Giambattisty Piazzetty (1682 – 1754), který je umístěn v kostele sv. Jakuba v Praze na Zbraslavi. Práce analyzuje toto dílo po formální a ikonografické stránce. Nechybí ani zařazení díla v kontextu Piazzettovy tvorby a benátského malířství obecně. This bachelor thesis deals with the Altarpiece The Assumption of Virgin by Giambattista Piazzetta (1682-1754) which is situated in the Church of st. James in Zbraslav, Praha. The author describes the situation of the painting in the church, and afterwards describes the painting itself and the characters on it.
