This thesis examines relationship between therapeutic change and significant moments in case of medium-term therapy of a client with depressive symptoms. In the Introduction part it describes depresssive disease, systemic therapy and it deals with an overview of existing research on the topic of significant moments. This thesis uses Helpful Aspects of Therapy (HAT) inventory and Interpersonal Process Recall (IPR). Therapeutic change was found out with Client Change Interview (CCI). The client was chosen by the test Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9). Depressive symptomatology was followed up by the Personal Questionnaire (PQ). We identified 5 categories of moments based on their link to the outcome. The therapeutic relationship has significant impact on the outcome of the therapy. The aim of this thesis is extend the existing knowledge about the role of significant events in psychotherapy process.
