The bachelor's thesis deals with the relationship between the points of elite and subelite Czech saber fencers (n=11; age 19,8±4,19 years) in the Czech Cup rankings (Points Czech Cup) and their selected motor, training and somatic parameters. Based on the results of the Spearman correlation coefficient, a significant relationship (p<0,05) was identified between the 505 Agility test and Points Czech Cup, and also between Points Czech Cup and YYRTL1 and VO2max. The results can help identify limiting aspects of sabre fencing performance. For a better understanding, it is nec-essary to examine the issue in more detail on a larger set of probands.
