The diploma thesis deals with the dilemmas of social workers in
a shelter for men. The theoretical part focuses on the
definition of social work, social worker, code of ethics,
client in social work and shelter for men, the specification of
homelessness for men and also deals with social work in the
shelter for men. The methodological part contains a description
of the qualitative research approach. It includes specific
partial research questions, research strategy, data collection
technique and operationalization of research questions. The
interpretation part contains an analysis of the obtained data
and answers to partial research questions. Finally, the answer
to the main research question and recommendations for practice
is given.
