The present bachelor thesis deals with the issue of educating
pupils with autism spectrum disorder at a common secondary
school. Two chapters of the theoretical part focus on autism
spectrum disorder characteristics and the conditions of
educating pupils with this particular disorder. The first
chapter presents basic information, classification and
manifestations of autism spectrum disorders. The second chapter
is devoted to the czech legislative and cirrucular documents
relating to educating the pupils mentioned. It also describes
inclusing education and counseling services. The last chapter,
practical part at the same time, is focused on the analysis of
educating pupils with autism spectrum disorder at secondary
school. The analysis was carried out in the form of qualitative
research based on structured interviews pedagogical stuff. The
conclusion of the practical part evaluates research questions
and presents conclusions of the investigation.
