Projevy hypokinetické dysartrie je možné pozorovat až u 89 % pacientů s Parkinsonovou nemocí (PN). Navzdory tomu, že narušení pohybové složky řeči bývá terapeuticky dobře ovlivnitelné, logopedickou intervenci zahajují spíše nižší procenta parkinsoniků. To dokládá také toto výzkumné šetření. Symptoms of hypokinetic dysarthria can be seen in up to 89 % of patients with Parkinson's disease (PD).
