This Master's thesis deals with methods in teaching of German
language at high schools with regard to language skills. In the
theoretical part some particular methods and language skills
are presented. On the basis of the theoretical part a
questionnaire for teacher of German language at the high
schools has been drawn up and it discoveres, what kind of
methods the teachers use, and what kind of language skills they
deal with most (with comparison of various schools, using
textbooks and other materials). On the research, 22 respondents
took part. It was discovered, that the respondents combine the
methods, introduce alternative methods and from the language
skills they most accentuate speaking and listening.
