The bachelor thesis ,,Quality of life of children in the
frontline city of Ukraine” is written about the situation
happening in the are of Donbas, eastern Ukraine. The main
purpose if this thesis is to design an improvement of an
ongoing project organized by a non-profit organization Chuť
pomáhat. Therefore, the theoretical part is dedicated to
description of eastern Ukraine's history and the current
situation of Donbas. That should be helpful in understanding
the temper of the locals as well as undercovering the need of
humanitarian help in that particular area. The practical part
of the thesis introduces the area of Krasnogorovka together
with organization Chuť pomáhat for which an improvement to one
of its projects is suggested. The author would like to
incorporate Media Education in respond to biased local media
and the propaganda leaking from neighbouring Russia. The idea
is that the Media Education would help children in understading
of what happening and that could possibly lead to improvement
of their current situation.
