Theme music plays significant role in the set of television
series. It overruns framework of an opening presentation and
accompanies story whole time. In my thesis I will focus on this
element from a range of various perspectives and with the use
of selected domestic television series from the medical
environment. Series with a medical theme can be in Czech
television drama described as a traditional and fully
established. In the most of the cases it retains a certain
level of quality and as well its format is still attractive to
quite wide audience.
