The thesis deals with a matter of mental retardation and a
disorder called autism. 
Autism is a grave diagnosis, which is especially demonstrated
by differences in the sphere of communication, social
interaction and behaviour. Mental retardation is a condition
characterized by the general decrease of intellectual
abilities, which limit the individual in all parts of his
personality – mental, physical and social. The only way how to
influence these diagnoses is a responsible and specially
pedagogical approach and the positive influence of family.
