Professional education of pupils and students with disabilities makes an important part in the Czech education system. This area has come across many changes in recent years due to integrative aducation. This thesis is focused on education in the training of students with special educational needs for their future career using teaching assistant in the educational process. In the theoretical part the issue of integrative education is described. As the teaching assistant plays as essential role in relation to the integration and education of pupils and students with disabilities, the second theoretical part is thematically focused on these assistants. Another important aspect is the particular choice of the profession itself with regard to the disability, characteristics and possibilities of education of these students. The research part of the thesis analyses views and ideas of recorded interviews with master teachers who work with assistant teacher in their classrooms on daily basis. Four teachers from two secondary schools were selected for the research.
