Třebaže jsou primárně spojování s Biblí a dalšími náboženskými texty, andělé jakožto literární postavy prošli vývojem, jež sahá až do současné literatury. Zadání práce
This thesis will aim to analyse angels in several contemporary queer novels and short stories. The analysis will be conducted through the lens of theory regarding angels in literature and queer literature in general. The angelic characters will be compared to each other in terms of their roles in the narratives, their identities (physical forms, sexualities), and their connections to the topic of queerness. The main aim is to clarify and explain the use of angels in contemporary queer narratives and their significance to it.
