The aim of the thesis is to analyze a local division of Unified
Patent Court, which might be set up on the basis of the
recently concluded Unified Patent Court Agreement. The first
chapter deals with the development leading to the Agreement and
older models of international patent courts in Europe. The
second chapter deals with the Agreement. The third chapter
describes opinions of countries that refused to sign the
Agreement. The fourth chapter describes a local division. The
fifth chapter analyzes selected opinions. The final chapter
examines a local division from the Czech perspective.
