The objective of this thesis called Comparison of the attitudes
of European states and the United States towards Israel and its
surroundings is to compare approches of the United States and
European states selected by author to main issues, conflicts
and ways of solving constantly tense situation between the
State of Israel and its Arab surroundings since the
establishment of the State to present. The first part is
dedicated to historical background that is essential to
understanding of this conflict. In the second part the author
was dealing with the most important events that occurred
between the Israelis, the Palestinians and their Arab
surroundings with emphasis on the attitudes of selected
European states and the United States on this issue.
