Tento koncept vysvětluje tendenci chudoby dopadat častěji a ve větší míře na ženy ve srovnání s dopadem na muže. The feminization of poverty is a phenomenon used to depict the disproportionate effects of poverty on women. The concept explains the tendency of poverty to impact women more often and at a higher degree, in comparison to its impact on men.
