This thesis is aimed on mapping of historic mining relics and heavy mineral prospection in the area Trucbába – Valcha, west from Humpolec. Studied locality is located within Humpolec – Pacov gold bearing zone. Mapped relics of historic mining were drawn into the map with 1:3000 scale, in total 775 small pits, 429 placers and historic water channel were mapped. Heavy mineral prospection confirmed occurence of gold, wolframite and scheelite. Gold grains from Trucbaba – Valcha are very pure (85,97 – 99,39 wt.% of Au) and have typical perforation. Newly was found Mg-wolframite with unusual content of huanzalaite end-member (12 %). Further chemical analyses include scheelite, illmenite, magnetite, garnet and monazite. Data were compared with locality Orlík by Humpolec.
