Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá postmodernismem v literatuře. V teoretické části práce jsou uvedeny definice tohoto pojmu podle monografií autorů Bertense & Dhaena a Vervaecka. Následuje srovnání těchto dvou definic a výběr Vervaeckovy teorie, na základě které jsou pak popsány postmoderní prvky v literatuře. V navazující praktické části se pak zkoumá, jestli jsou tyto postmoderní prvky zastoupeny v románu “In Nederland” nizozemského spisovatele Ceese Nootebooma.

Abstract

This master thesis deals with post-modernism in the literature. The theoretical part focuses on the definitions of this term according to monographs by Bertens & Dhaen and Vervaeck. Then follow comparison of these definitions and selection of the Vervaeck s theory. On the basis of this theory postmodern elements in literature are described.
