Bachelor thesis on the application and function of drones and
their use in public spaces deals with closer research into the
individual properties of the newly emerging technology of
unmanned aircraft, or drones, and their use in the various
sectors of the public domain. This thesis looks not only into
the technological aspects, but the primary social nature of
drones. Drones due to their affordability and wide range of
applications come increasingly to the fore and replace the
costly, complex and difficult hand held mechanisms. This thesis
explores the possibilities, advantages, disadvantages and risks
associated with the use of drones and the issues of their use
in public places.
