The thesis deals with the impact of emotional intelligence of managers on the engage ment of their teams in a logistics company. The theoretical part defines key terms and presents relevant models and theories. The practical part analyzes data from semi structured interviews. The research focuses on the five components of emotional in telligence according to Goleman (2015). The results show that the emotional intelli gence of managers has a significant impact on team engagement, particularly empathy and social skills. The thesis provides recommendations for developing the emotional intelligence of managers and highlights its importance for effective team leadership.
