Bachelor thesis entitled Authors book for refugee children
contains two parts – The practical art part and the theoretical
part. The authoress created the book entitled Jedno ČR
překvapení (One Czech Republic Surprise) in the practical part.
The book is meant for refugee children and immigrants children
primarily. The book familiarizes the readers with the Czech
Republic, people who living here, their habits and their common
live through the story about eleven years old Anička. The book
is accompanied by card knowledge game, memory game and
stickers. The theoretical text part describes the book itself,
in what way the book is created. It includes the theoretical
roots and authoress thoughts and her knowledge gain by
experiences. It also includes a description of the actual
process of creating itself – author’s text, illustrations, book
design, games and bookbinding.
