Diploma thesis "Functional communication by persons with
aphasia" describes the issues of aphasia, mainly focused on
functional communication. The theoretical part describes the
communication, functional communication and aphasia in terms of
its etiology, symptomatology and classification. It also
describes methods of diagnosis and treatment options. The
research part is focused on compiling a questionnaire for
functional communication and setting standards for the group of
healthy people over 50 years. The main objective of this
research is to define influencing parameters such as age,
education, laterality, sex.
