This work aimed to identify intestinal parasites in the sediment of grave origin from the 11th century. The parasites were detected at the microscopic level by sedative coproscopic examination. The molecular method used non-specific primers NEM18S and specific primers amplifying the genus Trichuris, which occurred in the control samples with the highest frequency. Non-specific primers did not amplify the intestinal parasitest, specific primers amplified T. trichiura in seven graves. The parasitic infections were then linked to specific individuals, of which 26 were men, 15 women, and 9 were of unspecified sex, and their age and skeletal and dental pathology were further determined.
