The thesis focuses on the relationship between Czechoslovakia and neighboring Austria in the years 1953-1957. In the form of a historical study, it presents the Czechoslovak view of the events of the time. The main task is to present the key factors that influenced the relationship between Czechoslovakia and Austria and to map its development. The thesis also traces the agenda and activities of the Czechoslovak Legation in Vienna. Attention is paid to the role played by the legation as well as its main and specific tasks. The thesis also aims to take into account the role of the ambassadors.
