The diploma thesis presents the complex creation of an
exhibition entitled "In difficult times: Fighting for borders
1918-1919" and the following implementation in the Technical
Museum in Brno.
The introductory part of the diploma thesis is devoted to
museum exhibitions and to current trends in this specific field
of museum activities, followed by the approach to the main
theme of the exhibition – the historical context of the
establishment of an independent Czechoslovakia, the creation of
the Czechoslovak army and the development of the war events
during the formation of the Czechoslovak Republic in 1918-1919.
The aim of the diploma thesis is to document the complex
process of the exhibition making, from its beginnings, through
the realization to the end and to explain historical events of
the war conflict, which is almost forgotten today.
