The subject of the diploma thesis „Risk analysis in the process
of acquisitions and mergers“ is the issue of risk analysis in
the process of business combinations from the point of view of
the most frequently occurring risks including the
quantification and suggest possible measures leading to improve
their management. The theoretical part is dedicated to general
definition of the risk, characteristic of the mergers and
acquisitions and analysis of the particular types of due
diligence. The practical part is focused on analysis of the
selected risks arising from the available reports due
diligence, in which are applied the findings from the
theoretical part. In the end of the practical part are
evaluated results and summarized the findings found on the
basis of the risk analysis.
