  • Supervision of undergraduate students, master students and PhD students (in areas of constitutional law, European studies, international relations, focus on empirical legal research, courts, judges, human rights and democracy)
Activities Outside University
  • Memberships 1. 2017 – now Member of the Steering Committee, European Political Science Consortium, Standing Group “Law and Courts”. This is an elected position within the core European political science group working on courts and judges. I am responsible for organisation of annual conferences (approx.200 members), expert workshops, book-launches, but also for support of early career scholars (financial and academic).
  • 2. 2018 – now Member of Advisory Board of Central and Eastern European Chapter, ICON-S
  • 3. 2019 – now Member of the Committee for Fundamental Rights and Prevention of Discrimination, governmental Council of Human Rights, Czechia. My role relates to expert commentary on procedural aspects of judiciary and its interference with rights of individuals
  • 4. 2020 – now Founding member of the Interest Group “Informal Institutions”, International Constitutional Law Society (ICON-S). I established this group together with Bjoern Dressel, Raul Sanchez Urribarri and David Kosař. The group creates a platform for Exchange, book launches and workshops among global scholars who work on informality, constitutional conventions and abuses of rule of law.
  • 5. 2022 – now Fellow of the Oxford Global Society, Oxford, UK. A think tank aimed to engage public in scholarly debates and make scholarship more visible in society, political or general debate)
