Scientific and Research Activities
  • Tomáš Pitner was awarded the Ph.D. At Masaryk University in 1998. Currently, he is Associate Professor, Founder and Head of Lasaris Research Laboratory, a member of the CERIT Strategic Council at the Faculty of Informatics at Masaryk University and the Scientific Director of CERIT Science Park. Since 2007, he has been an external professor at the Faculty of Informatics of the University of Vienna, where he has been cooperating with the Research Center for Educational Technologies. His research focuses primarily on surveillance and monitoring systems, critical infrastructure, security, web and enterprise software architecture and technology. It also focuses on the communication aspects of academic and industrial cooperation. It leads large-scale contracted research projects in the field of energy.
