  2007 onward: participating in the COST A30 Action "East of West: Setting a New Central Eastern European Media Research Agenda"; member of the Management Committee for the Czech Republic; member of working groups WG2 (conducting a comparative research project "Central and Eastern European Media in Comparative Perspective"; co-ordinator: Karol Jakubowicz) and WG3 (Media Policy and Regulation, co-ordinator: Beata Klimkiewicz)

  2006: conducted a research project "Images of Integration: a Presentation of the European Constitution in the Czech Daily Press", funded by the British Academy (this project was affiliated with the research project "Debating the European Constitution: National or Transnational Paths to a Supranational Issue?", carried out by a research team from the Communication Research Centre, Department of Social Sciences, Loughborough University
  2004-2005: conducted the research project "Media for Democracy", aimed at content analysis of the representation of NGOs in Czech daily press; supported by the VIA Foundation
  1999: participated on the research project "Objectivity and Balance in the Discussion Programs of the Czech Television", conducted by Masaryk University (research method: content analysis)
