Course objectives
The purpose of practics is to contribute to the evolution of ecologically favourable postures of students to environmental problems and to increase their competences in environmental areas, to acquaint them with concrete manners of application of ecological education in pedagogic and out-of-school practice, to enable students to prepare individual microteaching sessions to present their personal creative pedagogic postures, to deepen their consciousness about ethical bases of ecological education, encourage students in their pedagogical career with emphasis on the connection between pedagogic and civil effort with possibilities to solve ecological problems in everyday practice.
Syllabus
  • Methods and forms of ecopedagogical work on the children of lower classes of elementary school. Didactic recommendations for ecopedagogical practice in school and out-of-school education. Ecologically positive attitudes to life in everyday teaching practice. The roles and possibilities of an environmental education coordinator, education and education of the public in elementary school and in school nursery in accordance with the Local Agenda 21. Games, creative activities teaching aids and literature with ecological and environmental topics.
