Course objectives
The workshop aims at an outline of relationships and connection: man-environment-workload-technology-nature. It focuses primarily on physical factors of environment such as lighting, radiation, noise, vibrations, thermal-climatic conditions. There will be presented several techniques how to evaluate exposition as a base for health dangers evaluation. The credit requirement will be elaboration and short presentation of a search on chosen topic. The search in this perspective is research and investigation of the facts from different points of view.
Syllabus
  • Optimal temperature and humidity in a class. Impact of excessive/insufficient lighting on human health. Lighting for left-handed pupils. Radiation and human health – radiation sickness. Impact of noise on human health, especially on nervous system and auditory system. Climatic changes on the Earth in future. Abiotic factors. Adaptation abilities. Impact of physical properties of environment on evolution of organisms. 1. temperature, pressure, water, atmosphere, gravity 2. radiation IR, VIS, UV, ionizing radiation Impact of physical factors of internal environment on human health ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
