Course objectives
At the end of this course, students should be able to: -- understand the impact of lighting on human health -- understand the influence of radiation on human health -- understand the influence of vibration on human health -- understand the influence of noise vibration on human health -- explain the influence of thermal climatic conditions on human health
Syllabus
  • Optimal temperature and humidity in a class. Impact of excessive/insufficient lighting on human health. Lighting for left-handed pupils. Radiation and human health – radiation sickness. Impact of noise on human health, especially on nervous system and auditory system. Climatic changes on the Earth in future. Abiotic factors. Adaptation abilities. Impact of physical properties of environment on evolution of organisms. 1. temperature, pressure, water, atmosphere, gravity 2. radiation IR, VIS, UV, ionizing radiation Impact of physical factors of internal environment on human health ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The issue of air-conditioned workplaces and Occurrence effects of electromagnetic fields Microwaves - Mobily risks - the risks of wireless communications - Bluetooth, IR, WiFi, and a health risk due to exposure to vibration effectiveness of noise control measures radiation - the criterion of the dose / effect of changes in individual susceptibility   responsiveness throughout life individuals - summation effect of radiation burden of the population CR Znešištění air planes and weapons Photochemical (oxidation) smog, tropospheric ozone Incineration of waste - health risks and environmental impact of automobile emissions on human health of carbon oxides in   interior Passive smoking - exposure assessment Student theme chosen by lot, and then defending the discussion.
