Course objectives
The subject solves in practical level concrete problems, which pedagogue can meet most in his practise and which he must the most often solve and prevent.
At the end of the course, the students will be able:
- Understand and explain the formation of standards in the society, the functionality of the social system.
- Show the gained knowledge on the field of social pathologies and deviations.
- Project and coordinate prevention intervention programmes.
- Help someone in a difficult life situation.

  • 2. Theory of social deviations, definition of social pathology.
  • 3. Social control.
  • 4. Absenteeism.
  • 5. Agression and bullying.
  • 6. Criminality and delinquention.
  • 7. Drugs as an actual thread.
  • 8. Pedagogue and his competentions in the area of social pathologies.
  • 9. Deviations of behaviour.
  • 10. Pathological addictions.
  • 11. Pathology of family.
  • 12. Deviation in life of individuum homelessness, prostitution, suicidality.
  • 13. Extrme movements, sects and cults.
  • 14. Negative influence of massmedia, globalisation. Medial education.
