Course objectives
After completing the course, students will be able to: - define terms related to education, - describe the theory of education, - analyze in detail (with the help of homework) the principal phenomena of general didactics and understand the theories of teaching, - identify a woeks of most prominent personalities among general didactics, - define and describe the teaching methods, means and forms, - clarify the didactic principles, - define the active work of pupils in the classroom, - create a project of teaching their subject (focus), - apply mastered teaching in special apparatus, especially in didactics in the following semesters of study.
Syllabus
  • Seminars are filling students' papers to the chosen themes   General Education: 1st Basic concepts of teaching (education, training, education and types of education, learning, teaching, types of instruction). 2nd Phase of teaching (motivation, expotice, fixation, diagnosis, applications). 3rd Documents relating to   teaching high school [National Program for the Development of Education (White Paper), the Framework education programs for SOS, SOU, school educational programs). 4th Educational goals and their taxonomy (the requirements of the teaching objectives, goals cognitive taxonomy, taxonomy, affection goals taxonomy psychomotor goals, defining objectives). 5th Teaching job in teaching (the definition of a role učevních roles in teaching, research laboratory exercises under D. Tollingerové). 6th Activity, independence and creativity in teaching students (response, the degree, type, method development of students independence and creativity). 7th Teaching methods (classification of teaching methods, the methods of verbal, graphic, practical methods). 8th Aktivizující teaching methods (discussion methods, problem method, the method inscenační and situational, educational games, brainstorming, educational games). 9th Comprehensive teaching methods (group and cooperative learning, project teaching, critical thinking, open learning, learning   life situations, teaching supported by computer). 10th Teaching material means (the classification of didactic material resources, recommendations for working with them  ). 11th Evaluation and classification of pupils (the purpose of assessing the principles of evaluation, diagnostic methods used in assessing the test oral, written and practical, educational tests. 12th Design education (steps in the planning of instruction, preparation for teaching).
