- Course objectives
- Basic geographic, political, social and economic characteristics of the contemporary Croatia. On successful completion of the course student will acquire necessary knowledge and arguing skill on the the life and institutions of these countries, their cultural specifics as well as political and social development of Croatia since the breakup of Yugoslavia to the present day.

- Political and social development of Croatia since the breakup of Yugoslavia to the present day, geography, economy, population, ethnic composition, major cities and towns; historical regions, administrative division, political scene; film, sport and (pop)cultural specifics.
