Course objectives
At the End of this course the Students should be able to translate complexed texts from Macedonian to Czech. Also, they should be able to explain the content of majority of texts in Macedonian.
Syllabus
  • Introduction, overview of literature available on the topic; translating a “fun” newspaper text – horoscope, cartoon, a comic strip; translating a “serious” newspaper text – political news, economic news, etc.; translating an official text – certificate of birth, court resolution, etc.; translating a professional text – literary theory text, linguistic text, etc. translating a short story; some problems of translating fiction.
