- Course objectives
- In this semester the course will focus on Czech scenography and Shakespeare. The objective of the course is to open the issue of scenography and its critical reflection on the example of staging of the key phenomenon of the Western dramatic culture. Through survey of the 20th century staging history we will get to the productions of the last 20 years that will form a core of our research interest (as well as the topic of the final research paper). Other – no less important – aim of the course is to upgrade students’ writing skills.
