Requirement of microscopic examination in the dissertation project. Basics of potarizing light microscopy of minerals.

Course objectives
The main aim of the course is to consolidate the knowledge of microscopy of minerals and microscopy of rocks in thin sections and to consult the problems of the currently elaborated dissertation.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course, students should be able to: -to fix the ability from optical mineralogy of minerals and rocks - to consult the problems in optical microscopy of the currently elaborated dissertation.
