ISIC card – first card (full-time students) at the Faculty of Science

In accordance with the High Education Act's specification of a student ID card as a proof of study, Masaryk University issues to full-time students the international student ID, which serves to:

  • prove MU full-time student status,
  • for identification when entering the computer room and the library (the card is automatically activated)
  • when using copiers and printers (it is necessary to subscribe to this service in the charging machine on the ground floor of the faculty building at the main entrance),
  • for identification in the university catering system (after depositing cash at the cash register of the cafeteria or the buffet operated by the university).

    This card is intended for students starting their first year of full-time study at the Faculty of Science.
    The card will be made for you only if you have a photo in the IS MU.

    Bachelor's and master's students:
    The card will be prepared for you to pick up no earlier than three weeks after enrolment in studies, or you can pick it up on the first days of classes. Pick up your card during office hours at the Study Department of the Faculty of Science.

    Doctoral students:
    Before placing an order, please contact Kristyna Bajgarova (549 49 5051, bajgarova@sci.muni.cz) - in person / by phone / e-mail.

    The condition for issuing the card is crediting the amount for the card to the MU account You can find out if your payment has already been credited to your MU account in the My Orders app (usually, it takes about 3 business days).
