Course objectives
Aim of the course Psychotherapy of Art is application of this method into the educational system, health service and social sphere. Course is focused on possibilities of usage of psychotherapy of art in group and individual work, attends to questions of autotherapy. Students will get acquainted with other types of psychotherapy of art like dramatherapy or therapy of photography etc. Course pursues questions of usage of psychotherapy of art in the area of psychosomatic illnesses prevention, undesirable social effects and improvement of communication among people with different age and profession. This course presents problems in therapist-client relationship, offers different types of therapeutical programs in the field of psychotherapy of art. Students will be acquainted with many unique materials from clinical practice.

  • 1. Psychotherapy of art and preventive programs in educational system, health service and social sphere. 2. Artworks of different genres as a therapeutical instrument. 3. Psychotherapy of art and therapeutical relationship. 4. Creation of psychotherapeutical programs according to client’s age group and profession. 5. Programs of psychotherapy of art for group and individual therapy. 6. Work with voice in psychotherapy of art. 7. Nonverbal techniques of psychotherapy of art. 8. Dramatherapy. 9. Therapy of photography.
