The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The aim of the course is to equip students with theoretical knowledge and practical experience for working with naturally gifted pupils. Knowledge: knowledge of theories of giftedness and creativity, Skills: ability to diagnose the giftedness of students and self-confident interaction with students, Attitudes: respect for the uniqueness of the student and an individual approach to students in teaching, compliance with work safety rules in activities with children
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- apply motivational techniques,
- interpret and apply giftedness theories,
- to diagnose giftedness in pupils,
- summarize the possibilities of school and extracurricular leisure activities,
- distinguish current physics competitions in the Czech Republic,
- explain the functioning of institutions that deal with the education and popularization of natural sciences.

  • 1.-2. motivation of gifted students, 3.-4. giftedness theory; natural science, mathematical and technical talent, 5.-6. talent diagnosis, 7.-8. school interest groups and leisure centers, 9.-10. physics competitions, 11.-12. amusement science parks, museums and planetariums
