Course objectives
The course describes the selected phenomena of the world politics in the era of 1914-45, which usually are not a part of the mainstream in the study of politics in the 20th century. There will be introduced events from all main geographic areas, which were selected by the lecturers of the course.

Teaching methods
The basic teaching methods include lectures serving as a theoretical preparation in the field of history of international relations. The lectures are accompanied with class discussions that require active participation of students and homework in the form of reading (compulsory and complementary literature).
Assessment methods
The outcome of this course will be a preliminary written test and a final written test.
