Course objectives
The course is aimed at practical application of legal theory presented at individual lectures. At the end of this course the student will be able to understand the essence and mission of the object of Environmental Law (general and special part), to explain its functions, to argue its justness. The student will be able to work with the sources of Environmental Law (general and special part). The student will be able to create the legal view for the concrete cases, to assign the competent authority and formulate the appropriate filling.
Learning outcomes

  • Constitutional bases of the Environment Law; the right to favourable environment; the right to environmental information Subjects of the Environmental Law I – organization and forms of public administration in the environmental field Subjects of the Environmental Law II – public participation in environmental protection Managing conflicts of interest in the area I – Environmental Impact Assessment Managing conflicts of interest in the area II – Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control Managing conflicts of interest in the area III – Environmental protection in the process according to the Building Act Relationships of liability in the Environmental Law – the system of liability relations in the Environmental Law, administrative law liability, criminal liability Relationships of liability in the Environmental Law – civil liability, liability for environmental damage Economic instruments for environmental protection Property rights issues and environmental protection Legal means of solving incidents with environmental impacts (legal regulation of the risks associated with natural disasters and industrial accidents) Protection of public health from noise and other negative influences Free theme.

Seminar:exercising of basic concepts and institutes in relation to lectures, consequential discussion, solving of practical model situations, working with judicial decisions, legal regulations and other documents. E-learning.
Assessment methods
Credit. Student has to actively attend all seminars, work out all the example cases and eventually fulfill all other assigned tasks. All that shall be done in compliance with teacher’s request. If the requirements to obtain credits were not fulfilled, student has to fulfill an additional task in compliance with teacher’s request.

Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able to understand the essence and mission of the object of Environmental Law (general and special part), to explain its functions, to argue its justness. The student will be able to work with the sources of Environmental Law (general and special part). The student will be able to create the legal view for the concrete cases, to assign the competent authority and formulate the appropriate filling.

  • Constitutional bases of the Environment Law; the right to favourable environment; the right to environmental information Subjects of the Environmental Law I – organization and forms of public administration in the environmental field Subjects of the Environmental Law II – public participation in environmental protection Managing conflicts of interest in the area I – Environmental Impact Assessment Managing conflicts of interest in the area II – Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control Managing conflicts of interest in the area III – Environmental protection in the process according to the Building Act Relationships of liability in the Environmental Law – the system of liability relations in the Environmental Law, administrative law liability, criminal liability Relationships of liability in the Environmental Law – civil liability, liability for environmental damage Economic instruments for environmental protection Property rights issues and environmental protection Legal means of solving incidents with environmental impacts (legal regulation of the risks associated with natural disasters and industrial accidents) Protection of public health from noise and other negative influences Free theme (i.e. Global warming and protect the ozone layer)

Seminar:exercising of basic concepts and institutes in relation to lectures, consequential discussion, solving of practical model situations, working with judicial decisions, legal regulations and other documents.
Assessment methods
Credit. Student has to actively attend all seminars, work out all the example cases and eventually fulfill all other assigned tasks. All that shall be done in compliance with teacher’s request. If the requirements to obtain credits were not fulfilled, student has to fulfill an additional task in compliance with teacher’s request.

Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able to understand the essence and mission of the object of Environmental Law (general and special part), to explain its functions, to argue its justness. The student will be able to work with the sources of Environmental Law (general and special part). The student will be able to create the legal view for the concrete cases, to assign the competent authority and formulate the appropriate filling.

Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able to work with the sources of the special part of Environmental Law. He will be able to explain functions of institutes of the special part of Environmental Law and to argue its justness. The student will be able to create the legal view for the concrete cases, to assign the competent authority and formulate the appropriate filling.

  • Air protection. Water protection. Consumer protection. Forest protection. Protection of Nature and Landscape. Avoiding cruelty to animals. Bees protection. Fishes protection. Gamekeeping and the protection of the environmental. Waste colection scheme. Wraps. Chemical materials and the protection of the environment. Raw materials exploitation environmental protection. Land protection. Cultural sights protection. Environmental protection against adverse effect of agricultural activities. Environmental protection against adverse effect of ionizing radiation.

Seminar:exercising of basic concepts and institutes in relation to lectures, consequential discussion, solving of practical model situations, working with judicial decisions, legal regulations and other documents.
Assessment methods
Credit. Student has to actively attend all seminars, work out all the example cases and eventually fulfill all other assigned tasks. All that shall be done in compliance with teacher’s request. If the requirements to obtain credits were not fulfilled, student has to fulfill an additional task in compliance with teacher’s request.

Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able to work with the sources of the special part of Environmental Law. He will be able to explain functions of institutes of the special part of Environmental Law and to argue its justness. The student will be able to create the legal view for the concrete cases, to assign the competent authority and formulate the appropriate filling.

  • Air protection. Water protection. Consumer protection. Forest protection. Protection of Nature and Landscape. Avoiding cruelty to animals. Bees protection. Fishes protection. Gamekeeping and the protection of the environmental. Waste colection scheme. Wraps. Chemical materials and the protection of the environment. Raw materials exploitation environmental protection. Land protection. Cultural sights protection. Environmental protection against adverse effect of agricultural activities. Environmental protection against adverse effect of ionizing radiation.

Seminar:exercising of basic concepts and institutes in relation to lectures, consequential discussion, solving of practical model situations, working with judicial decisions, legal regulations and other documents.
Assessment methods
Credit. Student has to actively attend all seminars, work out all the example cases and eventually fulfill all other assigned tasks. All that shall be done in compliance with teacher’s request. If the requirements to obtain credits were not fulfilled, student has to fulfill an additional task in compliance with teacher’s request.

Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able to work with the sources of the special part of Environmental Law. He will be able to explain functions of institutes of the special part of Environmental Law and to argue its justness. The student will be able to create the legal view for the concrete cases, to assign the competent authority and formulate the appropriate filling.

  • Air protection. Water protection. Consumer protection. Forest protection. Protection of Nature and Landscape. Avoiding cruelty to animals. Bees protection. Fishes protection. Gamekeeping and the protection of the environmental. Waste colection scheme. Wraps. Chemical materials and the protection of the environment. Raw materials exploitation environmental protection. Land protection. Cultural sights protection. Environmental protection against adverse effect of agricultural activities. Environmental protection against adverse effect of ionizing radiation.

Teaching methods
Seminar:exercising of basic concepts and institutes in relation to lectures, consequential discussion, solving of practical model situations, working with judicial decisions, legal regulations and other documents.
Assessment methods
Credit. Student has to actively attend all seminars, work out all the example cases and eventually fulfill all other assigned tasks. All that shall be done in compliance with teacher’s request. If the requirements to obtain credits were not fulfilled, student has to fulfill an additional task in compliance with teacher’s request.

The content of lectures according to the mentioned structure results in the seminars where the theoretical and practical experience of students is exploited in respect of the issues in Environmental Law. Assessment methods (in Czech)
Způsob práce na seminářích a podmínky pro získání zápočtu budou sděleny studentům na úvodním semináři jednotlivými seminarizujícími. Jednotně pro všechny semináře z PŽP II platí, že podmínkou udělení zápočtu je 100% účast na seminářích. Nahrazení nepřítomnosti je možné účastí v seminářích, které vede příslušný vyučující, jehož semináře si student zvolil, případně náhradním plněním podle zadání seminarizujícího učitele. Studenti, kteří nesplní podmínky pro udělení zápočtu budou absolvovat písemný test v termínu určeném seminarizujícím vyučujícím. Obsahem testu bude problematika, kterou student osobně neseminarizoval a ani nedodal náhradní plnění v termínu určeném seminarizujícíkm učitelem. Podmínky pro studium a získání zápočtu studentů s ISP jsou podrobně uvedeny a publikovány v ISu u předmětu PŽP II. Zkouška z PŽP II se skládá z písemné a ústní části.

Způsob práce na seminářích a podmínky pro získání zápočtu budou sděleny studentům na úvodním semináři jednotlivými seminarizujícími. Jednotně pro všechny semináře z PŽP II platí, že podmínkou udělení zápočtu je 100% účast na seminářích. The course is aimed at practical application of legal theory presented at individual lectures. At the end of this course the student will be able to understand the essence and mission of the object of Environmental Law (general and special part), to explain its functions, to argue its justness. The student will be able to work with the sources of Environmental Law (general and special part).   • Constitutional bases of the Environment Law; the right to favourable environment; the right to environmental information Subjects of the Environmental Law I – organization and forms of public administration in the environmental field Subjects of the Environmental Law II – public participation in environmental protection Managing conflicts of interest in the area I – Environmental Impact Assessment Managing conflicts of interest in the area II – Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control Managing conflicts of interest in the area III – Environmental protection in the process according to the Building Act Relationships of liability in the Environmental Law – the system of liability relations in the Environmental Law, administrative law liability, criminal liability Relationships of liability in the Environmental Law – civil liability, liability for environmental damage Economic instruments for environmental protection Property rights issues and environmental protection Legal means of solving incidents with environmental impacts (legal regulation of the risks associated with natural disasters and industrial accidents) Protection of public health from noise and other negative influences Free theme.

Teaching methods
Seminar:exercising of basic concepts and institutes in relation to lectures, consequential discussion, solving of practical model situations, working with judicial decisions, legal regulations and other documents. E-learning.
Assessment methods
Credit. Student has to actively attend all seminars, work out all the example cases and eventually fulfill all other assigned tasks. All that shall be done in compliance with teacher’s request. If the requirements to obtain credits were not fulfilled, student has to fulfill an additional task in compliance with teacher’s request.
