Course objectives
Main objectives od the course are to gain information about the special needs education and support of people with multiple disabilities; about the legislation; counselling and alternative learning strategies. At the end of the cource the students should understand the issue of education of pupils with multiple handicap.
Syllabus
  • Teaching pupils with physical disabilities Physical disabilities - range, terms. Speech disorders range, characteristic. Disorders of cognisance epilepsy, range, displays, first aid, and education. The consequence of the move and communication abilities of children with the cerebral palsy. Types of therapy, RIP, timetable and the program of care. The principles of development of move and communication abilities of children with cerebral palsy. The development of the movement of legs, the methodology of the walk training,. Development of hands and communication. The organisation and the methodology of the team training. Equipment and aids, psycho - hygienic and environment. Perception of physically disabled. Hypnotic and move handicap. Ophtalmopaedia Categories of people with visual disabilities, occurrence and causes, dim-sighted children, children with limited vision, blind children, astigmatic children, children with multiple defects, blind-deaf children, peculiarities of psychic processes in visually handicapped, system of schools for visually handicapped, counselling, special educational centres, technical aids, visual stimulation space orientation and independent movement, guide dogs. Psychopaedia Mentally disabled, aetiology, classification of mentall disability, diagnostics, charakteristics of individual grades, education and upbringing of mentally disabled, system of schools, special educational centres, special metodologies, alternative forms of communication, pre-professional and professional work with mentally disabled, legislation, social care institutions, stacionary centres, charity and non-state organizations.
